Round Stupa Of sirkap

One round Stupa is present at Sirkap. It is one of the oldest Stupas in the Indian-Subcontinent. It is assumed that this Stupa was uprooted and thrown to its present location by a strong earthquake in the 1st century AD. When the new city was built later, the Stupa was kept by building a protecting wall around it. سرکپ میں موجود گول ستوپہ پاکستان کے قدیم ترین ستوپوں میں سے ایک ہے۔ خیال کیا جاتا ہے کہ یہ ستوپہ ایک زبردست زلزلہ کے نتیجہ میں موجودہ جگہ پر آن گرا تھا۔ جب پہلی صدی عیسوی میں شھر دوبارہ تعمیر کیا گیا تو اس کے گرد دیوار بنا کر اسے محفوظ کر دیا گیا
